Your Host On Stage
Come hear me, Michael Barrish, read Letter, a tale of lost love and professional irresponsibility, at the Bowery Poetry Club (it’s a bar; they serve BEER) on Sunday, November 17.
The reading will be incorporated into a video produced and directed by Claudia Abonia. This video will be called Letter. It will win many prestigious awards which Claudia and I will make a great fuss about declining.

The reading costs $5.
There is a certain wisdom to killing off most of the important characters at the end of a story, because then you know that it’s over. Losing you has felt like a death but it hasn’t felt over. I go on.
