The Oblivio Series is a bi-monthly reading and performance series hosted by Michael Barrish. It has no overarching theme or purpose.
Beth Cherry lives in Queens and keeps a journal online called Not Dead Yet, which erases and refills daily. She is currently working on her MFA in design and technology at Parsons.
Diane Greco teaches at Columbia University, where she's completing an MFA in fiction. She writes, or tries to, in a small Brooklyn apartment ruled by a talkative midget who has just turned two.
David Kozubei has no interest in his bio but will gladly answer questions.
Michael Barrish is, among other things, a giant basketball-playing chicken.
The Oblivio Series is hosted at the Bowery Poetry Club, a fabulous East Village performance space and bar. The club is located at 308 Bowery, between Bleeker and Houston. Here's a map.
Closest subways: 6 to Bleecker; F, V, Grand Street S to Broadway-Lafayette.
The cover charge is $5.
